The second round of a new project fund , which aims to stimulate and support artistic and cultural projects that benefit Edinburgh and those who live in and visit the city.
The City of Edinburgh Council has partnered with The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo to extend the support available to those involved in the arts in the city. The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (Charities) Limited aims to “promote and encourage arts, culture and heritage and/or study of the arts, culture and heritage in Edinburgh”. The Tattoo has therefore ring fenced £50,000 towards the City of Edinburgh Project Fund to enable a second round of funding within 2017/18.
The New Work Fund will award grants to organisations based in Edinburgh for costs involved in developing new performing arts work. We will support projects at any stage or at any scale, including R&D and work in progress.
