Creative Funding 2024-25 (Aberdeen City Council)

The Aberdeen City Council Creative Funding programme is open for applications. Applications can be received from Individuals £2,500, not-for-profit organisations £8,000 and Pilot Seed Funding £2,500. 

The Creative Funding programme offers cultural organisations with not for profit status, community groups, charities and individual artists or creatives the opportunity to apply for support to develop and/or deliver creative activity in Aberdeen.  

This funding has previously been awarded to festivals, community groups, brand new arts organisations and has supported projects from emerging individual artists through to established organisations.  

A range of projects can be considered for funding such as performances, exhibitions, networking events or even something completely new and innovative. Please read the guidelines that are available to download to consider your eligibility. 

Organisations with not for profit status can apply for awards of up to £8,000. 25% of match funding is expected within the overall project budget.

Or, Organisations who have not received funding before from this programme, or in the last 5 years, can apply for up to £2,500, there is no match funding requirement. 
Individuals who are Aberdeen City residents can apply for awards of up to £2,000. There are 8 awards allocated annually.
