Hands Up for Trad are very pleased to announce our top 20 tunes submitted to MusicHub in 2016. Simon Thoumire has played through all the tunes submitted and chosen his favourite 20. The list shows off the amazing level of contemporary composition by Scottish composers and showcases what is possible within the traditional form – 16/32 bar tunes. Today Hands Up for Trad are also launching the 2018 Collection. We want you to submit your tunes for a top 20 that will be selected at the end of the year. The deadline for entries is Sunday 29th July. The 2018 Collection will also incorporate tunes submitted in 2017. Enter here.
