Aberdeen International Youth Festival (AIYF) is a multi-arts event which takes place annually in Aberdeen and the North East region of Scotland. Young people up to age 25 travel from around the world to perform at the festival and having hosted over 30,000 participants form over 90 countries over the years AIYF one of the most highly regarded artistic and cultural gatherings of young performers anywhere.
We are seeking a Communications and Marketing Assistant to join the festival team, to work with the CEO/Artistic Director on the day to day delivery of the marketing and communications for AIYF.
Good communication and writing skills alongside some experience of leading the delivery of projects or tasks in a work or training setting in marketing and communications is essential. Ability to work as part of a team, experience using website content management and cloud based IT systems is an advantage, as well as having an understanding of design software and being confident in all aspects of social media. A clean and current driving license is desirable.
8-month contract starting January 2017.
