Call for Artists able to work within Tayside.

Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust (THAT) is a charity that works within an arts and healthcare context across the Tayside Region. THAT has a successful history of providing participatory creative engagement opportunities for people living with a variety of Long Term Health Conditions. Our client groups are people living with the consequences of; Stroke, Acquired Brian Injury, MS, Chronic Pain, COPD, Dementia, Parkinson’s disease and others.

THAT engages professional Artists across a range of media, Visual Arts, Music, Creative Writing and others, to design and deliver Participatory Creative Engagement Programmes within inpatient and community settings. Artists are engaged on freelance contracts and are supported by THAT’s management and admin team. THAT is looking to expand our pool of freelance artists and would like to hear from Artists/educators who can demonstrate a professional understanding and experience of working within a community to deliver workshops/sessional programmes.

We already have programmes opportunities for 2017 for Visual Arts and Music but would also like to hear from artists from other disciplines interested in working in a health & wellbeing context.
