Versatile performer isidora Bouziouri is preparing her debut solo performance in Scotland along with the Edinburgh-based Adjust Productions. We are looking for a band or solo musicians to join her on stage.
The script is written by Lisa VillaMil based on story by herself and Isidora Bouziouri and it is a comic cabaret or a musical stand-up comedy about the ridicule of falling in love and it will include 8-12 songs (repertoire TBC) plus/including some pieces performed by the band. This will be fun
We are looking for:
-a freely jazz/blues sound
-a duet or trio (either already formed in a band or solo musicians who will work together) consisting of piano/keyboards, guitar/brass and brass/violin/accordion or potentially any solo instrument you play. Ability to sing or read/speak on stage will be very much appreciated.
Premiére will be on a date commonly agreed but during the second half of April. A few rehearsals (ideally 2-4) will be commonly agreed as well. Next step is Edinburgh Fringe and promoting the show for festivals, theatres, clubs and events. Fees are negotiable.
