This call for applications is open to all genres (World, Traditional, Classical, Jazz, rock, Rap, … etc. Music) for emerging artists / bands.
For information, it is no longer mandatory to be a student to apply to FIMU.
Applications can be submitted online until November 17, 2024, via our website fimu.com/apply or directly at this link.
Then, around fifty professionals from venues, festivals, producers, media, … will listen to all the applications to offer the most eclectic and qualitative programming as possible.
As a reminder, here is a quick presentation of the festival by its 2024 figures,
- 1,357 applications from 81 countries
- 6 selection juries composed of 50 professionals from the music industry
- 120 selected groups, 1,370 artists and 31 countries represented
- 220 concerts and more than 100,000 festival-goers over 3 days
- 100+ pros present to discover bands
