The 20 for 14 programme is aimed at giving individual artists a voice and profile within the Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme by supporting the development of new work responding to, or reflecting upon, the unique cultural, social, political and historical contexts of the Commonwealth and Glasgow’s hosting of the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
The programme will support 20 new commissions of £14,000 by individual artists and creative practitioners that result in the creation of new work. We are open to works that can be previewed in advance of the Commonwealth Games, take place during the Games or be reflective of the Games experience.
Who can Apply?
20 for 14 is open to individual artists – although collaborations between artists will be considered. Please note that artists must be Scottish-based.
