Short Business Description: Colonsay is a small Hebridean island ( 8 miles by 3) with only 5 ferries per week (3 in winter) and a population of 120 souls. It is therefore not surprising that, despite its rich musical heritage, it has always been difficult to attract well known musicians to the island. That is until 2008 when 2 islanders decided to do something about it! And what a success it has been with all festivals to date being sell outs.
