Tell us about yourself<\/strong>
\nSinger songwriter who tours with 4 piece band, Adam Holmes and the Embers; Heirs and Graces is Adam’s debut album and was produced by legendary producer John Wood (also responsible for seminal albums by John Martyn, Nick Drake, Sandy Denny and more)<\/p>\n

Why are you involved in Scottish music?<\/strong>
\nChildhood memories of growing up in Edinburgh, including getting sneaked into afternoon sessions by his mum \u2013 a keen folk fan since the 1960s \u2013 at the city\u2019s best-known folk pubs, the Royal Oak and Sandy Bell\u2019s – instilled a deep rooted love of Scottish music and its power to communicate through melody, rhythm and song. Interested in combining those roots with other forms of music including Americana and hiphop. But it’s always about honesty and communication.<\/p>\n

Any particular career highlights?<\/strong>

What are your plans for the future?<\/strong>
\nLooking forward to performing a lot more live gigs, both with Rura (whose new album is due for release in 2015) and as Adam Holmes and the Embers<\/p>\n
