In our wildest dreams we could never have imagined where it would take us and what we would achieve along the way – we’ve had an absolute blast! However this has never been a full-time venture for us, and we’ve now reached a point in our lives where we have a few more responsibilities than when we started.”

Niteworks have released three critically acclaimed albums, NW in 2015, Air Fàir an Là in 2018, and A’ Ghrian in 2022, the latter two having been longlisted and shortlisted, respectively, for The Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Awards.

Why are you involved in Scottish music?
We were brought up within the vibrant and culturally rich community on Skye which gave us a great grounding in Scottish traditional and Gaelic music. The fèis movement provided us with our musical education and set us on a path of playing music together.

Any particular career highlights?
A particular career highlight for us was in 2022 when we performed alongside the BBC SSO at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

What are your plans for the future?
Sadly after our final tour in November 2024 we will be calling it a day as a band.

Niteworks Social Media
Website: https://www.niteworksband.com/
Facebook: @niteworksband
Twitter: @
Instagram: @niteworksband
YouTube: @niteworksband
TikTok: @

The 2024 MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards are on the 30th November 2024 in Inverness Leisure Centre!
