We asked Lana the following questions.<\/p>\n

Tell us about yourself<\/strong>
\nLana is a singer, actor and writer from Skye. Although she has always loved music, she didn’t begin taking it seriously until lockdown. She now sings with Valtos and An Dannsa Dub, two incredibly innovative bands that are a huge inspiration to her.<\/p>\n

Why are you involved in Scottish music?<\/strong>
\nFirst of all I love the music and the people I share a stage with. But it\u2019s also the folk in the crowds. It\u2019s amazing to get to know the familiar faces that appear at the gigs time and time again and to hear how much the music means to us.<\/p>\n

Any particular career highlights?<\/strong>
\nIt always a total buzz getting on stage. However, playing to a home crowd is always special, so singing \u201cHome\u201d at Skye Live was wild. Especially with my family in the audience.<\/p>\n

What are your plans for the future?<\/strong>
\nHopefully An Dannsa Dub and Valtos want to keep me around, because I love what both bands are doing and feel very grateful to be involved.
\nI\u2019m also planning to take some time to write some more original songs.<\/p>\n
