We asked Andrea Gobbi the following questions.<\/p>\n

Tell us about yourself<\/strong>
\nMixing and Mastering Engineer, Music producer and Recording Engineer from Rome and living in Glasgow, Scotland.
\nBased at GloWorm Recordings and Carrier Waves Studio, both situated in Glasgow City Centre.<\/p>\n

Why are you involved in Scottish music?<\/strong>
\nI have loved and played music from an early age… I later started getting into producing and I love working with other musicians, interpreting their ideas and turning them into records…<\/p>\n

Any particular career highlights?<\/strong>

What are your plans for the future?<\/strong>
\nI have recently started doing mastering. It’s been very interesting to learn this new trade and I’m loving the results I’m getting so far.. So more of this for now!<\/p>\n

The results of the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Industry Awards will be announced the week of 2nd December online at http:\/\/www.scotstradmusicawards.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bands performing on Saturday 7th December include Skerryvore, Session A9, Benedict Morris (BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician Award Winner 2019), Heisk, Aberdeenshire Youth Band, Sian, Robyn Stapleton, Mairi Campbell and the Pendulum Band, Susan MacFadyen Scottish Dance Band and more to be announced. There will also be a late night ceilidh after the Awards till 1am.<\/p>\n
