Tell us about yourself<\/strong>
\nShetland Accordion and Fiddle Club was formed in 1978 and meets fortnightly from September to March. The Club also organises the well known Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival which is now in its 31st year. The Club encourages musicians of all ages and is fortunate to have a wealth of talent both young and not so young.<\/p>\n

Why are you involved in Scottish music?<\/strong>

Any particular career highlights?<\/strong>
\nThe annual Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival<\/p>\n

What are your plans for the future?<\/strong>
\nTo continue showcasing Shetland and Scottish traditional music<\/p>\n

Bands performing on Saturday 1st December include includes Croft No Five, M\u00e0nran, Karine Polwart Trio, Hannah Rarity, Eabhal, Catriona Watt, Gordon Duncan Experience and Gerda Stevenson. and more to be announced. There will also be a late night ceilidh after the Awards till 1am.<\/p>\n
