In addition to working on Hannah's solo material, the past few winters have seen them focus on the festive. With their HannAnnaRama Christmas gigs now established as a firm favourite amongst folkie festive fixtures, each December two of Scotland’s foremost performers combine forces to bring you new takes on classic numbers and original material, all delivered with a warmth and humour that’s bound to get you in the spirit!

Any particular career highlights?
In an unforeseen and unlikely turn of events, the bold duo made an appearance on Channel 4 News this summer, following their social media cover of Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart coinciding with both her funeral and the total eclipse of the sun. Friends, family and former teachers were all agog…

The past few Christmas tours have provided some fantastic moments, whether it be Hannah winning a whole trout in the Stonehaven Folk Club raffle or Anna heading home from Spott hall with a travel mug full of delicious mulled wine (in the passenger seat, of course). There's something really special about touring at that time of year – audiences are full of cheer and up for all sorts of craic.

September 2026 saw HannAnnaRama hit the international stage, with a tour of Denmark. Lovely gigs, yes, but the pair discovered the Danes' passion for a board game cafe which was a literal game changer!

What are your plans for the future?
Current plans include discussing the merits of baubles and bunting as festive merchandise, as the Christmas 2026 tour nears.
