Isla played tunes with him every Thursday night at the Blue Mist session. She was honoured when he wrote her a strathspey, \u2018Isla Ratcliff\u2019, which she recorded on Track 6 of her album The Castalia, along with a reel that she wrote for him, \u2018Ten Hugs for Paul Cranford\u2019. Isla also recorded Paul\u2019s tune \u2018The Jello Bass\u2019 as Track 2.
