
{"id":5413,"date":"2018-03-27T12:01:11","date_gmt":"2018-03-27T11:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/projects.handsupfortrad.scot\/scotlandsings\/?p=5413"},"modified":"2018-03-27T12:01:11","modified_gmt":"2018-03-27T11:01:11","slug":"ceol-cholasa-hebridean-music-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.handsupfortrad.scot\/scotlandsings\/ceol-cholasa-hebridean-music-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Ce\u00f2l Cholasa: Hebridean Music Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ce\u00f2l Cholasa 2018&nbsp;is only a matter of months away and this could well be your&nbsp;last chance to secure a ticket.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve a great line-up for you this year, including arguably the biggest band on the trad scene at the moment in&nbsp;Tide Lines, multi award winning a cappella group&nbsp;The Young&#8217;uns, hauntingly beautiful tunes and songs from&nbsp;The Jarlath Henderson Band, not to mention returning favourites&nbsp;Cara.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll have wonderful Gaelic songs from both highland quartet&nbsp;Beira&nbsp;and electronic duo&nbsp;WHYTE, the latter providing an immersive audio visual experience. Orcadian&#8217;s&nbsp;Fara&nbsp;will amaze with their driving fiddles and rich harmonies.&nbsp;Hamish Napier and Innes Watson&nbsp;will be wowing us with both tunes and songs up in our&nbsp;new hotel venue&nbsp;and of course there will be concerts from&nbsp;our wonderful local artists.<\/p>\n<p>Proceedings get underway on the evening of&nbsp;Thursday 13<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;September&nbsp;(with&nbsp;Tide Lines&nbsp;headlining that night) all the way through to late afternoon on&nbsp;Sunday 16<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;September. The stomping&nbsp;Late Night Ce\u00f2l Ceilidh&nbsp;takes place as Saturday night gives way to Sunday morning with music from the&nbsp;Caitlin McNeill Ceilidh Band&nbsp;and&nbsp;special guests. And as always, you can get up close and personal with the artists themselves as they host&nbsp;workshops&nbsp;throughout the weekend. Not to mention the sessions at the&nbsp;festival club&nbsp;which runs to into the&nbsp;wee sma&#8217; hours&nbsp;every night..<\/p>\n<p>A&nbsp;Full Weekend Pass&nbsp;is only&nbsp;\u00a380&nbsp;and gains you entry to all of the concerts, workshops and ceilidh.
