Read more below.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Amy Leach<\/strong>\u00a0is a final year student of traditional music at Newcastle University who has also been mentored by leading folk singing authority\u00a0<strong>Sheena Wellington<\/strong>. Earlier this year,\u00a0<strong>1320Radio<\/strong>\u00a0took the opportunity to make an audio\/visual record of Amy in performance at the Wighton Centre in Dundee. We also recorded a short interview with Amy and Sheena and discussed the act of mentorship and their shared sense of duty towards these the songs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Singer and the Song<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0also represents a statement of intent for<strong>1320Radio<\/strong>\u00a0as synergetic feature that incorporates audio, video and editorial media to present an important story in a rounded way.
