The emphasis is on teaching and learning aurally and recordings will be made and shared of everything taught over the weekend.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Over the weekend we will be joined by Pauline Down who will provide practical tools and techniques for self development and inspiration: <\/span>identify the gaps in your knowledge and decide the best way forward for your work: remain energised and motivated while often working in isolation; use a mentoring framework successfully with tangible results. The training day will be interspersed with\u00a0songs and rhythm games.<\/p>\n<p>As well a\u00a0voice teacher, singer, performer and composer,\u00a0Pauline is a hugely experienced trainer who runs\u00a0regional workshops with natural voice practitioners across the UK looking at how they can get the most out of mentoring each other and being part of a network.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside this training, there will be plenty of opportunities for singing together throughout the weekend.\u00a0This is a wonderful opportunity to take time out from your own practice and to be nurtured and nourished.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The weekend costs \u00a3125 (\u00a375 concession), which includes accommodation, training and basic food. In order to keep costs to a minimum, we ask participants to bring luxuries to share during mealtimes, such as cake, chocolate and wine and to help out with laying the table, washing the dishes and tidying up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">As we did last year, we have a small number of \u00a350 bursaries for those travelling a long distance to Comrie.
