From Heart Research UK
This December, we’re asking the nation to warm up their vocal chords
so we can continue helping people to live happier, healthier, longer
lives.
Over the last nine years our Sing for your Heart campaign has raised
over £95,000 and in 2014 we want you to join us as we Sing for our
Hearts.
Whilst the festive season is a long way off we are already starting to
plan Sing for your Heart and we are certain it will be our biggest and
most successful campaign but we need your help.
You could plan your own Sing for your Heart event. There are all
different types of musical activities you could plan for your own Sing
for your Heart event, why not choose Heart Research UK as the
beneficiary for one of your concerts.
Our free fundraising pack and tools are full of hints and tips to
ensure your event is a great success, request your free pack by

Alternatively, you may choose to support one of our Sing for your
Heart collection events that we are planning to take place in December
at shopping centres and train stations across the country.
So far we have collection events taking place in Glasgow, Sheffield,
Leeds, Hull, York, Swindon, South Wales, Portsmouth, London and many
more venues to confirm therefore we need your help.
Will your choir or music group support our work by performing at one
of our collection events? Or maybe you would like to organise your own
Sing for your Heart collection in your local supermarket or shopping
centre?
Burton Joyce Choral Society: “We thoroughly enjoyed carol singing in
Nottingham’s Victoria Centre. We enjoyed seeing the pleasure that the
carols gave to passers-by and also a sense of satisfaction that we
were helping to raise funds for the charity. It’s important for
everyone to support Sing for your Heart to enable more research into
heart disease to take place.”
Sing for your Heart is one of Heart Research UK’s most important
annual campaigns and without your support it wouldn’t be such a
success. The money that is raised will allow us to continue funding
medical research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart
disease and help people to live heart healthy lifestyles.
If you are able to support our Sing for your Heart campaign by either
planning your own event or supporting one of our collection events
