The song was inspired by my daily walks on the moor near where I live in the Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. It's a love song. Optimistic in outlook - he's in love with the woman, and is asking her to meet him on the moor, so they can perhaps let their love develop, but he's still not 100% sure of her feelings yet.
