I wrote this song about leaving the Highlands of Scotland which i will be doing in a couple months. I am leaving to study at the National Piping Centre of Scotland as I am a multi-instrumentalist but I first found music in bagpiping at the age of 6. This song makes me realise how much I will miss the highlands and how I know I'll miss all aspects of the area even something as little as the blowing wind which was something that often prevented my sleep at night. Nevertheless, parting with it will be something I will find difficult!
