LGC was started in 1985 and enjoys singing and promoting Gaelic
culture. We compete at local and National Mods and take part in
regular performances throughout the year, including during the
Edinburgh Festival Fringe. We are well known on the gaelic scene as a
sociable bunch. Being a member of the choir is like having an extended
family. An interest in gaelic language is essential but it is not necessary to
be a fluent speaker as we have a gaelic tutor.
