Foos Yer Doos Sing Song Club is a free, weekly, drop in singing group open to anyone living with a neurological condition such as Dementia, Motor neurone disease, Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease or Stroke . Carers, friends and family are also very welcome to attend. If you are interested please come along to join in the fun, sing songs old and new, and meet others in similar circumstances.
The group has been set up by a small committee of volunteers in response to local interest and spurred on by the success of similar singing groups in Aberdeen City. Funding provided by Aberdeenshire Council Change Fund will support a six month pilot but we hope to continue the group in the longer term.
The ‘Foos Yer Doos’ sessions will begin Monday 3rd June, on a weekly basis, from 11:00am. Singing starts around 11:00am for an hour followed by a fly cup from around 12:00pm. We are always looking for volunteers to help with running the group.
