The Choir was formed in 2001 as a merger of the Saltire Gaelic Choir
and the Edinburgh Gaelic Choir. Edinburgh Gaelic Choir celebrated its
centenary in 2007 making it one of the oldest Gaelic choirs in
Scotland.
Today the Choir has approximately 25 members and performs at a variety
of events to spread Gaelic language and culture, principally in
Edinburgh. We were delighted to achieve third place in the Margrat
Duncan competition at the 2010 Royal National Mod in Caithness.
