The Dalesmen are sad to announce the passing of founding member and Choir President Rev Reg Dean at age 110 years & 63 days. Reg started the choir in his 80’s proving it’s never too late to start anything!
As we all get older gaining valuable life experience it is brilliant to share that experience with the younger generation. I’m always interested in how people have lived and I love to hear peoples life stories. The concept of ‘when someone dies its like a library burning down’ always saddens me and I wish more people would write down their life stories so we can learn from them. Reg seems to have a great time with the choir and must have had so much to give.
