Dunoon Community Choir is a newly-formed community choir drawn from Dunoon and surrounding villages. It rehearses every Wednesday at 7pm in St Johns Hall, Dunoon under the direction of Gill Toosey.
The choir is looking for three kinds of members:
- A pianist to free up Gill to conduct.
- More members, especially men. You don’t have to read music or have sung before, just go along and have fun singing along.
- People from all over the Cowal peninsula interested in being part of a competitive rural gaelic choir to sing in this year’s MOD, which will be held in Dunoon in October. You don’t have to speak any gaelic or have sung in a choir before, just be willing to learn.
