“Care for a Ceilidh” began in 2013 and delivers around three concerts a month to residents of hospices and care homes. Fronted by a range of Gaelic Singers and traditional musicians the project was originally based in Glasgow but now also regularly delivers ceilidhs and performances in Lewis and across Scotland.
Many of you will know that here are Scotland Sings we are increasingly aware of the amount of research carried out that suggests how hugely beneficial these kinds of opportunity are to those in residential care and those with dementia.
