Liz and Amy are inspirational tutors who bring an infectious love and unbridled knowledge of their respective traditions.<\/p>\n

They will explore the techniques of playing Strathspeys and Highlands and compare and contrast the two types, guaranteeing you pick up great tricks and tunes!<\/p>\n

On Sunday Sun 7th May two fiddlers, two musical heritages and one shared passion. Liz Doherty\u2019s Donegal tradition and Amy Geddes\u2019 Galloway fiddle roots are explored in concert, with a sprinkling of Cape Breton thrown in for good measure.<\/p>\n

Since meeting in the 1990s, Liz and Amy have shared many musical adventures and have been known to dispatch the fiddles and don their dancing shoes to show off a few steps.<\/p>\n

Expect boundless fiddle energy, ably backed by Kevin Mackenzie on guitar.<\/p>\n
