<\/a>Hands Up for Trad\u2019s Trad Music Spotlight<\/a> is a monthly feature on a band or solo artist. It was first launched in February 2015 and features musicians who are working in the trad scene \u2013 both in Scotland and around the world. We asked Dallahan a few questions.<\/p>\n

What’s happening?<\/strong>
\nWe are currently promoting are second album ‘Matter of Time’. we toured this album for 12 weeks in Denmark, Germany, Nepal and the UK. We had some amazing gigs, one of which was at Frederikshavn Refugee Centre where we played for around 500 refugees, mostly Syrians.<\/p>\n

We were invited by the British Council to take part in the Britain-Nepal bicentenary celebrations in Kathmandu where we collaborated with traditional Nepalese band ‘Kutumba’. This was an amazing experience for all of us, we met some amazing people and brought back some great Nepalese tunes. We even played for Prince Harry at the British Embassy!<\/p>\n

\nThe band started in 2013 . We launched our EP in Edinburgh in December that year and released our debut album ‘When the Day is on the Turn’ in August 2014.<\/p>\n
