\u2018Scots Radio\u2019 is produced bi weel kent broadcaster Frieda Morrison and taks in Scots \u2018fae Shetland tae the Borders an athin in atween.\u2019 The programme, that wis launched on the internet twa years ago, attracts thoosans o listeners a oor the warl, wi its special blend o information, interviews and music. The monthly podcast his been nominated in the \u2018magazine category\u2019 and is competin against programmes fae BBC Alba an BBC Scotland as weel as BBC Ireland and Wales, for the Festival\u2019s \u2018Torc\u2019 Award for Excellence.
\nFrieda Morrison, fa comes fae Deeside, Aiberdeenshire, sees the nomination as an important step in the promotion o the Scots Language.<\/p>\n

Celtic Media Festival director, Catriona Logan said: \u201cThe record breaking entries were whittled down by our dedicated national juries who, in all, watched and listened to over 370 hours of top quality submissions.\u201d
