Award winning CalMac Culture Music 2016 is open for entry! Are you a singer song writer or band member? Would you like the chance to play a set at some of Scotland’s biggest music festivals this summer?<\/p>\n

CalMac Culture 2016 is bigger and better than ever – this year entrants will compete for the chance to take to the stage at nine famous festivals. You or your band could win a slot on stage at one of the following events:<\/p>\n

Hebridean Celtic Festival<\/p>\n

Tiree Music Festival<\/p>\n

Best of the West Music Festival<\/p>\n

Mull of Kintyre Festival<\/p>\n

Bluebell Festival<\/p>\n

ButeFest<\/p>\n

Oban Live<\/p>\n

Iona Music Festival<\/p>\n

Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival<\/p>\n

CalMac Culture Music winners will battle it out on the iconic stage at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on Thursday 31 March 2016.<\/p>\n

Entry couldn’t be easier, simply upload a video of your original act to YouTube, fill out the entry form and make sure your video meets the following requirements:<\/p>\n

Your YouTube video entry must have a full description, containing a reference to the competition and a link to www.calmac.co.uk\/music<\/a><\/p>\n

Videos should have the following phrase in the title ‘CalMac Culture Music Entry’ and contain the event hashtag #CalMacCulture<\/p>\n

CalMac Culture Music 2016 will accept entries from 9am on Wednesday 17 February 2016 until 5pm on Thursday 17 March 2016. Finalists will be announced on Wednesday 23 March 2016.<\/p>\n
