One of Leith\u2019s most famous Victorian pubs is set to become an atmospheric live music hub this August, with Fringe at Nobles: a month-long programme of folk, trad, singer-songwriters, open mics and late-night sessions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Running from 4-29 August 2026, Fringe at Nobles will see acclaimed Scotland-based folk, trad and songwriter talent perform in Leith, pairing intimate ticketed concerts from some of Scotland\u2019s most exciting folk and acoustic artists alongside a packed run of free sessions on Wednesday evenings and late-night sessions on Fridays and Saturdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ticketed Tuesday night concerts, priced at \u00a312, will showcase a line-up of award-winning and internationally recognised performers, including Jack Badcock and Andrew Waite, Kirsteen Harvey and Lewis McLaughlin, Hector Shaw with Fraser Fifield & Graeme Stephen, and Stewart Hardy & Frank McLaughlin with Fell Line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking about the programme, Bellfield\u2019s Alistair Brown said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFrom Glastonbury-winning songwriting and Scots Trad Music Awards nominees to Celtic Connections favourites, jazz-folk innovators and battle-of-the-band winning trad trios, our Fringe at Nobles programme brings together the warmth of a proper pub session with the calibre of a festival stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe result is a Fringe programme with real range: expect polished performances, spontaneous late-night magic, established names, emerging voices and the kind of communal music-making that belongs at the heart of Edinburgh in August.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday 4 August, 9pm – Jack Badcock and Andrew Waite | \u00a312<\/strong>
<\/strong>World-folk, songcraft and traditional musicianship from Dallahan frontman Jack Badcock and acclaimed musician Andrew Waite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday 11 August, 9pm – Singer-Songwriter Night with Kirsteen Harvey and Lewis McLaughlin | \u00a312<\/strong>
<\/strong>A double bill of contemporary Scottish acoustic talent, featuring Scottish Acoustic Live Artist of the Year Kirsteen Harvey and Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition winner Lewis McLaughlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday 13 August, 9pm – Open Mic with Lewis McLaughlin | Free<\/strong>
<\/strong>A welcoming Fringe open mic night led by Lewis McLaughlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday 18 August, 9pm – Hector Shaw + Fraser Fifield and Graeme Stephen | \u00a312<\/strong>
<\/strong>A night spanning intimate folk-inspired songwriting, acclaimed jazz-folk, sax, whistle, pipes and inventive guitar-led improvisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday 25 August, 9pm – Stewart Hardy & Frank McLaughlin + Fell Line | \u00a312<\/strong>
<\/strong>Virtuosic fiddle and guitar meet award-winning contemporary trad from Glasgow-based trio Fell Line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
