Scotland has a new home for harp music with the official opening of the Saltire Harp Centre<\/strong>, founded and run by acclaimed harpist Ailie Robertson<\/strong> and her husband.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in the heart of Argyll, the Saltire Harp Centre is more than just a shop \u2014 it\u2019s a welcoming destination where harp enthusiasts can try, play, and purchase harps<\/strong> from some of the world\u2019s finest makers. The Centre represents four exceptional artisan brands: Dusty Strings<\/strong>, Pilgrim Harps<\/strong>, Weissgerber Harps<\/strong>, and Marini Harps<\/strong>, offering models ranging from 24 to 37 strings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Saltire Harp Centre provides harp sales, rentals, and accessories<\/strong>, as well as Dusty Strings pickups and installation services<\/strong>. Its mission is to make it easier for people across Scotland and beyond to explore and access quality instruments without needing to travel far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe wanted to create a space where people could truly experience the harp \u2014 to sit down, try different models, and find the one that feels right for them,\u201d says Ailie Robertson<\/strong>. \u201cScotland has such a rich harp tradition, and we\u2019re thrilled to bring a dedicated space for learners and professionals alike.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to harp sales, the Centre offers a try-to-buy rental scheme<\/strong>, allowing customers to put rental fees toward the cost of a purchase, making harp ownership more accessible to students and first-time players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
