A welcome addition to the Irish music scene, Nathan Carter has brought a whole new generation of fans to country music, releasing 14 studio albums and six live albums across 17 years \u2013 five of which peaked at number one in the charts. His trip to Tiree this summer will be a first and is set to delight locals and visitors alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An impressive 25 acts confirmed for the 2023 edition of the festival will return this year, including indie-folk sensations Tide Lines, who played their first ever gig at TMF, homegrown chart-topping talent Skerryvore, and popular party-starting six-piece Trail West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival\u2019s Elevate Stage will once again showcase the very best emerging talent in Scotland with sets from Scottish-electronic duo Valtos, all-female power house The Laurettes, TikTok singing star NATI and singer-songwriter and TMF enthusiast Cammy Barnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also playing for the first time this year are local band Tr\u00e1vee, one of the newest additions to Tiree\u2019s vast music scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As always, TMF 2024 will also include a vast array of activities and workshops to allow festival-goers to get the most of their time on Tiree and fully appreciate their beautiful surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TMF Fringe programme includes tours and tastings at Tyree Gin\u2019s open day and beach yoga, while Fergie\u2019s Fun Club will return to the festival with a host of activities for youngsters with a special carnival theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival is capped at an exclusive audience number of just 2,100, and with a very limited number of tickets remaining, organisers expect an imminent sell out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daniel Gillespie, Artistic Director for Tiree Music Festival, said: \u201cIt gives us a real sense of pride that we have been able to confirm so many artists due to play at last year\u2019s festival for our 2024 edition. It\u2019s great that we\u2019ve been able to make the logistics work, honour these agreements and can show them, and our incredibly loyal audiences, what TMF is all about. The event attracts visitors from across Scotland, the UK, Europe and the world and has contributed \u00a38 million to Tiree\u2019s island economy since its inception in 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TMF is part of Creative Carbon Scotland\u2019s Green Arts Initiative and was shortlisted for Outstanding Cultural Event or Festival of the Year at the Highlands and Islands Thistle Awards 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TMF 2024 takes place on the Isle of Tiree between Friday 12 \u2013 Sunday 14 July.
