Originally from Perth,&nbsp;Beth\u2019s music is folk-inspired, and she sings a mix of traditional, modern and self-penned Scots songs.&nbsp;She was named BBC MG ALBA Scots Singer of the Year in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wednesday 23rd August will see the band performing two shows, with a solo seated concert at 6pm, and a standing gig at 8pm with special guest&nbsp;<strong>Inge Thomson<\/strong>. An acclaimed singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, Inge is a founding member of legendary Scottish folk band Harem Scarem. She has released two solo albums as well as numerous collaborative projects, and works closely with celebrated singer-songwriter Karine Polwart, playing accordion and percussion in her band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>James Lindsay of Breabach said:<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cWe can\u2019t wait to perform as part of Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year, joined by the wonderful Beth and Inge. Edinburgh crowds are always fantastic but during the Fringe the whole city really comes to life and we\u2019re thrilled to be a part of it. Whether you\u2019re up for a dance or would prefer a seated concert, we hope you\u2019ll join us this August!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSummerhall is an amazing venue, running an exciting and diverse program of arts events, and we\u2019re delighted to have been selected for their \u2018Nothing Ever Happens Here\u2019 fringe program this year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Breabach are&nbsp;<strong>Megan Henderson<\/strong>&nbsp;(fiddle\/vocals),&nbsp;<strong>James Lindsay<\/strong>&nbsp;(double bass\/moog\/vocals),&nbsp;<strong>Calum MacCrimmon<\/strong>(Highland bagpipe\/whistle\/bouzouki\/vocals),&nbsp;<strong>Conal McDonagh<\/strong>&nbsp;(Highland bagpipe\/uilleann pipes\/whistle\/vocals) and&nbsp;<strong>Ewan Robertson<\/strong>&nbsp;(guitar\/cajon\/vocals).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of 18 years, Breabach have performed all over the world, from the Sydney Opera House to Central Park in New York.
