The winner was announced at The SAY Award Ceremony held this evening at the Barrowland Ballroom. Now in its third year, the prestigious award ceremony and was attended by over 800 people.<\/p>\n<p>Young Fathers, who live in Edinburgh, receive the prize of \u00a320,000. Commenting on the award, Young Fathers said: \u201cWhat started in the basement has become worldwide. Something that is personal to us, is for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stewart Henderson, Chair, Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA), commented:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn behalf of The SMIA I&#8217;d just like to say how delighted we are for Young Fathers. \u2018Tape Two&#8217; is an extraordinary album and a deserving winner out of a phenomenally strong shortlist.
