The Paddy Buchanan Band<\/strong> are finalists in Battle of The Folk Bands 2023. The Finals will be held at Celtic Connections Festival on January 21st 2023 in Glasgow’s Belhaven Brewery. Buy a ticket here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Paddy Buchanan Band are a five-piece ensemble from Aberdeen who specialise in the reworking of traditional folk songs. Primarily ballads from the North-East of Scotland but also featuring songs from Ireland, England and the New World. These songs are musical tales of love, loss, triumph and tragedy – many of them stories which have been passed down over hundreds of years. Expect vocal harmonies, up-beat tribal grooves provided by the \u201cDrum Circle\u201d, along with intricate melodies woven with Accordion and Mandolin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
