Taking place at Perth Concert Hall on&nbsp;<strong>Friday 14th October<\/strong>, the entertainment will kick off with singers&nbsp;<strong>Mairi MacInnes<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Arthur Cormack<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Ceitlin Lilidh<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Darren MacLean<\/strong>&nbsp;performing&nbsp;alongside an all-star band led by&nbsp;<strong>Gary Innes<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Ewen Henderson<\/strong>&nbsp;of M\u00e0nran fame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors can also get their hands on tickets for&nbsp;<strong>Our Language Our Music<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Saturday 15th October<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; a very special night dedicated to the thriving Gaelic culture and traditional music that Perthshire has to offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Featuring a host of notable names including&nbsp;<strong>Margaret Bennett<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Ross Ainslie, Ali Hutton\u2019s Symbiosis<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Pete Clark<\/strong>, alongside&nbsp;<strong>Patsy Reid<\/strong>, this concert will not only celebrate the well-known musicians and singers who have put Perth on the musical map, but also the many community and educational groups who work tirelessly with passion and enthusiasm to ensure the local traditional cultural community continues to thrive. These groups include&nbsp;<strong>Perth Gaelic Choir<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>The Gordon Duncan Experience, Dunkeld and District Strathspey and Reel Society<\/strong>&nbsp; and&nbsp;<strong>The Tayside Young Fiddlers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elsewhere,&nbsp;<strong>The Leonard Brown Scottish Dance Band<\/strong>&nbsp;will play a legendary ceilidh in The Salutation Hotel Ballroom on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights of this year\u2019s event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday evening, St John\u2019s Kirk will host a new Gaelic harmony collective featuring young Gaelic and folk singers and speakers from across Scotland called&nbsp;<strong>Binneas.<\/strong>&nbsp;The concert will be their debut performance and the group, led by Gaelic singer and choral director&nbsp;<strong>John Joe MacNeil<\/strong>, will showcase new choral arrangements by the likes of&nbsp;<strong>Mary Ann Kennedy<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Sileas Sinclair<\/strong>&nbsp;and welcome an array of fantastic musicians including the&nbsp;<strong>Seonaid Aitken Quartet<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Innes White<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Charlie Stewart<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>Friday 21st October<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>The M\u00f2d Grand Finale<\/strong>&nbsp;will welcome West Coast favourites&nbsp;<strong>Trail West<\/strong>&nbsp;to the Perth Concert Hall for a sensational final concert for the premier Gaelic musical and cultural event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets are also available for the event\u2019s multiple flagship competitions, including the prestigious&nbsp;<strong>Gold Medal<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>The Lovat and Tullibardine<\/strong>&nbsp;choral contest and the&nbsp;<strong>M\u00f2d Drama Final<\/strong>. Hundreds of people of all ages will compete in around 140 competitions across a range of categories covering singing, poetry, music, drama and Highland dancing as well as a new&nbsp;<strong>Battle of the Bands<\/strong>&nbsp;event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>James Graham, Chief Executive Officer of An Comunn G\u00e0idhealach, said<\/strong>: \u201cA host of fantastic fringe events and competitions going on sale marks another exciting milestone as we countdown to The Royal National M\u00f2d returning to Perth this autumn.
