It’s now two decades\u00a0since we\u00a0released The Piper & The Maker<\/a> which recorded the special connection\u00a0between craftsmanship and musicians.\u00a0We would love to make The Piper and the Maker II and with your help, we hope\u00a0to\u00a0make this a reality!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dad and I have been making smallpipes for over 30 years\u00a0and thanks to players like Allan MacDonald and Br\u00ecghde Chaimbeul, who have been\u00a0recording and performing\u00a0in C, the demand for sets in this key is increasing.\u00a0With their unique tone these smallpipes are\u00a0sweet\u00a0and bright and\u00a0lend themselves to accompanying\u00a0singers. We intend\u00a0to feature\u00a0tracks with vocals as well as many great tunes, all played on C smallpipes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are delighted these brilliant musicians have agreed to join us for 3 days of recording:       <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allan MacDonald, Angus MacKenzie, Br\u00ecghde Chaimbeul, Calum Alex MacMillan, Gary West, Margaret Stewart with Ewen Henderson, Ross Ainslie, Seonaidh MacIntyre and Steve Byrne. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are passionate about the pipes we make, each set is handmade with great care. To support this project we are making two sets of C smallpipes available to buy, which will be handed over when the CD is launched. Both sets will feature on the album in a special quartet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be grateful for any support, whether by pre-ordering the CD or treating yourself to the other perks on this site. If you’re unable to contribute, a wee share of our campaign would be very much appreciated! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
