From Tina!<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>I am creating my debut flute and whistle album comprised entirely of my own compositions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hello! I’m Tina, a flute, whistle and piano player originally from Lancashire, now residing in Glasgow, Scotland. I am delighted to be working on my first solo flute and whistle album, ready to be released in summer 2022. Tina is a previous finalist in the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician Award. <\/p>\n<p>I have undertaken this project with all my passion, creativity and energy. The music on this album is composed by me, and I feel that it is a reflection of who I am at this moment in time. The album is all about life, energy and fun.<\/p>\n<p>I am very grateful to have secured the majority of funding for this album from Creative Scotland and I can’t wait to share the finished product with you. In order to complete the album, I require your support in raising the remaining funds.<\/p>\n<h3><u>Album<\/u><\/h3>\n<p>I am so happy to be working with a small team of incredible musicians on the album:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lea Larsen<\/strong> – bodhr\u00e1n<br \/>\n<strong>Se\u00e1n Gray<\/strong> – guitar<br \/>\n<strong>James Lindsay<\/strong> – bass<\/p>\n<p>On the album I play flute, an A whistle, a high D whistle and piano. The tunes on the album are a mix of reels, jigs, 7\/8s and more. I enjoy writing fun and catchy tunes and take my influences from many places, including my time spent in Ireland studying on the BA in Irish Music and Dance in Limerick, the Irish dance music tradition (having released four Irish dance music albums so far), and the vibrant Glasgow music scene.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiegogo.com\/projects\/tina-jordan-rees-debut-flute-whistle-album#\/\">Find out more and support Tina Rees here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From Tina!
