\n<\/span>Over the weekend of 22-24 October, the Barn\u2019s outdoor and indoor spaces will become a creative playground of music, imagination and apple harvesting. Partnering with trailblazing musical eco-warriors the Nest Collective we\u2019ll present some of the finest folk and roots music, storytelling, apple pressing, crafts and games.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re delighted to announce the acts featuring on Friday 22 October are compelling singer and harpist Rachel Newton<\/b>, plus, neo-trad trio Project Smok<\/b>.<\/p>\n

On Saturday afternoon, alongside an impressive programme of curated music and storytelling, you can enjoy an array of participatory workshops and talks. Learn how to create cider and press apples with our on-site apple press and join medicinal Herbalist Natasha Lloyd on a demonstration and foraging walk in the Barn\u2019s Wild Garden.<\/p>\n

Then on Saturday night we welcome to the stage the highly-regarded Findlay Napier<\/b> and double BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards nominees Gnoss<\/b>!<\/p>\n

Apple Weekender Sunday is an opportunity to spend the day with the family, to engage with, and be inspired by the Barn\u2019s natural surroundings through music, storytelling, talks and creative activities.
\nJoin artist Fenneke Wolters-Sinke for a paper folding workshop inspired by her current exhibition \u201cPaper Contemplations\u201d. Illustrator and maker Helen Greensmith will be on hand to assist both young and old with printing, using foraged greenery found around our Wild Garden.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Together at the Barn\u2019s rural hideaway we will experience some amazing music \u2013 with some performers playing outdoors unamplified and around a campfire \u2013 the old way \u2013 come join us for an up close, joyful sonic experience in our charming world of community, music and nature.<\/span><\/p>\n
