This event features FINDLAY NAPIER, BETH MALCOLM and LEWIS McLAUGHLIN so songwriting is well to the fore.<\/p>\n
Beth Malcolm won this year’s EFC annual songwriting competition back in the summer and happens to be the daughter of Jim and Susie Malcolm, so a no’ bad pedigree.<\/p>\n
Lewis McLaughlin, is a songwriter, musician and son of Frank McLaughlin who is not unknown to EFC. Lewis attended Edinburgh’s Broughton High School’s Music School and then went on to Plockton before going on the road around Scot;land and in Europe. He’s a pretty dab hand with a sound desk as well!<\/p>\n

This ever-popular event hosted by the excellent Margaret Bennett is the all-singing or\/and playing non-dancing version of, “a traditional Scottish or Irish social gathering.
