{"id":12803,"date":"2019-03-26T08:31:56","date_gmt":"2019-03-26T08:31:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.handsupfortrad.scot\/handsupfortrad\/?p=12803"},"modified":"2019-03-26T08:31:57","modified_gmt":"2019-03-26T08:31:57","slug":"tales-from-the-early-scottish-folk-club-scene","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.handsupfortrad.scot\/handsupfortrad\/tales-from-the-early-scottish-folk-club-scene\/","title":{"rendered":"Tales from the early Scottish folk club scene"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following the recent passing of so many folk who were part of Scotland\u2019s early folk club scene , Fraser Bruce has started to collect stories from those early days from people \u2018who were there\u2019 and create a book relevant to the \u2018early days\u2019. It is not his intention to write the book as this would obviously be influenced by Fraser\u2019s own views which , in turn , would be open to the critics . Fraser will gather the stories and collate them in to a \u2018book\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>These will be stories straight \u2018from the horses mouth\u2019 , so to speak.<\/p>\n<p>Although there have already been over 70 offers of contributions , it is hoped that anybody who has stories, photos, posters etc from those days will contact Fraser and give him their account of how they saw it . This is not just the artistes and organisers but people who were there and actually participated .&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To get a true picture , it is hoped that contributors will come from all parts of the country, not just the major cities.
