The award will be made on 30th November at the <strong>Saltire Celebrates<\/strong> event at \u00d2ran M\u00f2r in Glasgow.<\/p>\n<p>To be considered, applicants should should fill in the form below, detailing experience up until now as well as a detailed description of the project they would undertake. How this opportunity would help their creative development and enhance their career. Projects could include the delivery of a teaching programme, booking a small scale tour. This bursary can\u2019t be for recording a CD or instrument purchase. Hands Up for Trad will provide mentoring throughout the process ensuring the successful delivery of final outcome.<\/p>\n<p>The award will be made to the selected person, consisting of \u00a32,500 (in installments) to enable the winner to pursue their project, together with a certificate and membership of the Saltire Society.\u00a0 The winner will be expected to present a personal visual record (in the form of a website) of their experiences at an award ceremony in the following year.\u00a0 The Society would welcome interaction through Facebook, Twitter and blogging to record on-going responses.<\/p>\n<p>All nominated entrants will receive one year\u2019s membership of the Society.<\/p>\n<p>Please submit all project proposals below\u00a0<strong>by Friday 26 August
