Hands Up for Trad wants to harness just some of the emotions and positive thoughts that have been at the forefront of all our minds in recent weeks, by creating a New Songs For A New Scotland Songbook<\/strong> which will feature thought provoking songs for a positive Scottish future.<\/p>\n

There has been so many amazing ideas, positive thoughts\u00a0and\u00a0visions for the future in the last few years from both sides of the debate. We can’t lose these ideas – they are\u00a0too important.<\/p>\n

The New Songs For A New Scotland Songbook is looking for submissions which will be included in an ebook that will be available for free download to anyone who wants to see Scotland in a positive light. It is\u00a0not a competition – all entries will be considered.\u00a0So express yourself through song writing and help us capture this unique time as Scotland moves forwards.\u00a0The songs don’t have to be about heather and mountains (although they can be if you want), they can be political but we are not looking backwards only forwards.<\/p>\n
