International Women’s Day Twitter Chat – Friday 8th March 2019

In 2017 Hands Up for Trad hosted our first Twitter chat using the hashtag #womenintrad and we repeated the experience in 2018. They have been a great public discussion to chat about the issues for women working in traditional music. To mark International Women’s Day 2019 we are hosting another discussion to look at where we are at with the same hashtag #womenintrad. It will start at midday (GMT). The chat will be hosted by @handsupfortrad.

If you have never taken part in a Twitter Chat don’t worry it’s easy! All you have to do is to search Twitter for #womenintrad and read all the posts using the hashtag. If you want to ask a question or make a statement just add the hashtag to the post and it will be seen. If you are still worried just watch and you will quickly work it out.
