\"519VDg3JYIL\"Fiddlers Bid – All Dressed in Yellow: The Shetland Band’s latest release All Dressed in Yellow is an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary styles, both in melody and arrangement, played by a mature, innovative band combining outstanding musicianship. The album could be described as a suite of music lasting almost 45 minutes where the arrangements border on orchestration. Scotland on Sunday reviewer Norman Chalmers says of ‘All Dressed in Yellow’, a tour-de force of rhythmic, melodic and harmonic imagination in but six tracks.<\/p>\n

Fiddlers\u02da Bid are internationally respected as leading exponents of their rich fiddle tradition and are global ambassadors for Shetland. Since forming in 1991, they have established an identity as a unique band with a harmonious and symphonic sound developed though many years of playing together.<\/p>\n

“The musical tornado known as Fiddlers Bid” have a magnetic four fiddle front line of Shetland’s finest – Chris Stout, Kevin Henderson, Andrew Gifford and Maurice Henderson joined with Scotland’s dynamic harper, Catriona McKay and a powerhouse rhythm section of ace Irish musician and guitarist Se\u00e1n \u00d3g Graham with top Newcastle bassist Neil Harland to create a \u201cdisplay of stunning virtuosity\u201d.<\/p>\n
