Their highly current sound is earthy, deep-rooted, yet eagerly progressive, built from grassroots folk with contemporary influences. 2013 saw the release of their debut \u2018Lay Your Dark Low\u2019 described as \u201cthe multifaceted work of a significant new collective\u201d (The Herald). Boasting previous winners of BBC Young Folk Awards, a Scottish Jazz Award and many titles at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards, they now join together to make \u201ca seamless team\u201d (The Guardian).
