Set to enthral listeners, the upbeat record will be available from <b>Friday 4 August<\/b>, and sees the band place an increased focus on vocal arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>Hailing from the Isle of Skye, the <b>Peatbog Faeries<\/b> are renowned for their high-octane inventive blends of traditional-style Scottish jigs and reels with contemporary dance music, inspired by the sounds of jazz, pop, techno and more. An imaginative ensemble comprising <b>Peter Morrison<\/b>, <b>Ross Couper<\/b>, <b>Innes Watson<\/b>, <b>Tom Salter<\/b>, <b>Norman Willmore<\/b>, <b>Innes Hutton<\/b> and <b>Stu Brown<\/b>, the group are confident in their distinct style, making music which is completely original, upbeat and intense.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>I See a World<\/i><\/b> is a testament to the band&#8217;s remarkable talent and unwavering dedication to growth. The album was largely inspired by a week-long writing trip on Skye designed to integrate new members Norman Willmore, Stu Brown and Innes Watson with the rest of the group. The week turned out to be an extremely fruitful, collaborative writing session, drawing out a rich diversity of musical experience and passion between band members old and new.<\/p>\n<p>The dynamic record features captivating compositions from the <b>Peatbog Faeries<\/b> with contributions from esteemed guests, such as the <b>Bevvy Sisters<\/b>, Heather Macleod and Gina Rae, percussionist <b>Krishna Kishor,<\/b>renowned tenor saxophonist <b>Helena Kay<\/b> and Corks finest Uilleann piper <b>Ryan Murphy,<\/b> adding a new dimension to the band&#8217;s distinctive style, and creating a vibrant and diverse sonic landscape.<\/p>\n<p>There is an increased vocal presence throughout <b><i>I See a World<\/i><\/b>, from melodic interludes to full on dance anthem choruses, further highlighting the group\u2019s continued commitment to progression. Indeed, for the first time, the <b>Peatbog Faeries<\/b> have included a full song on their album with <i>The Sister of Moses.<\/i> The track features the exceptional vocal talents of the <b>Bevvy Sisters<\/b>, and layers musical textures, melodies and harmonies to create a deep and complex listen.<\/p>\n<p>On other stand out tracks such as <i>Ann Robertson\u2019s Kitchen<\/i>, the band\u2019s sound begins with rhythmic electronica layered with distant vocals, and builds with a sturdy rhythm to a hypnotic, high octane fiddle piece, with all the vibrancy and engaging atmosphere of a live performance.<\/p>\n<p>With its unique blend of genres, infectious rhythms, and masterful storytelling, <b><i>I See a World<\/i><\/b> promises to be a standout album for the band, and a must listen for both longtime fans and new listeners alike.<\/p>\n<p><b>Peter Morrison of the Peatbog Faeries said:<\/b> \u201cIt feels great to get this new album out into the world and to showcase our growth and development as a group. With the addition of three new members, and close collaboration with some incredible talent, we all feel the band&#8217;s musicianship has reached new levels with this album.
